Project Description

GeoPik is a toy designed with a remeltable silicone jelly that can be heated in the microwave. When melted, themed beads can be added, and as the jelly hardens, kids can enjoy picking the beads out, providing a fun and satisfying sensory experience.

The name GeoPik reflects the toy’s theme. Each version of GeoPik is inspired by a different biome, making it both a fun sensory experience and an educational toy that teaches kids about various ecosystems.

Target Audience

This toy is designed for children ages 7 and up who have a natural urge to pick at things, providing a fun and engaging way to satisfy that need.

Goal

Create a collectible toy that keeps kids engaged while encouraging parents to purchase different themed sets.

GeoPik helps kids satisfy the urge to pick while also teaching them about different biomes in a fun and interactive way.

Packaging

The packaging was intentionally designed to be fun and approachable for both kids and parents. It features a sturdy box that not only enhances the unboxing experience but also provides convenient storage for easy reuse.

Inside the box, consumers will find a set of cards that answer key questions about the toy, while also helping kids learn about the different ecosystems associated with each GeoPik theme. The front of each card is consistent with the logo and pattern, and the back of the card changes based on the information provided.

Color Palette:

The company colors are carefully chosen to reflect the five different biomes featured in GeoPik. They are playful, vibrant, and natural, capturing the essence of each ecosystem while creating a visually appealing and engaging brand identity.
